1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Dockpedia (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

The Service provides a searchable catalogue of laptop docking stations and a side-by-side comparison tool. The Service is informational only. It does not sell products, take payments, or facilitate transactions.

3. No warranty — accuracy of information

All specifications, compatibility notes, port descriptions, power figures, pricing, images, and any other information shown on the Service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We make no representations or warranties about:

  • the accuracy, completeness, currency, or reliability of any information shown;
  • the compatibility of any dock with any specific laptop, operating system, firmware version, peripheral, monitor, cable, or driver;
  • the availability, performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability of any product listed;
  • any pricing shown — prices may change at any time and are not an offer to sell.

You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information on the Service before relying on it.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operator(s) of the Service be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, cost of substitute goods, or any other commercial damages or losses, arising out of or in connection with:

  • your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
  • any reliance on information displayed by the Service, including but not limited to compatibility, specification, and pricing information;
  • any product purchased after consulting the Service;
  • any unavailability, error, defect, virus, or interruption of the Service.

In any event, the aggregate liability of the operator(s) of the Service to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed €10 (ten euros). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, or systematically download the Service or its data without prior written permission;
  • copy, redistribute, or republish the catalogue (in whole or material part) for commercial purposes;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
  • use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.

6. Intellectual property

8. Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We may also restrict your access to the Service if you breach these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms
